The Amazing Watercolor Fish: New Breakthroughs in Bilingual Picture Books and Graphic Novels In-Person

Please join the University Library for a presentation with children's books illustrator Carolyn Dee Flores in honor of Picture Book Month.  The presentation will take place on Wednesday, November 1st from 5:30 to 6:45 pm in Room 402.1 (the smaller side of the Vista Room) in the Central Academic Building at Main Campus.  Ms. Flores will discuss her illustrating process and what it's like to work with an author.  She will also have books for sale.  

Ms. Flores' illustrations can be seen in: Canta, Rana, Canta / Sing, Froggie, Sing,Dale, Dale, Dale: una Fiesta de Numeros,Daughters of Two Nations and most recently A Surprise for Teresita / Una Sorpresa para Teresita

Children are welcome to attend the presentation and light refreshments will be available!
